MANAGER, TRANSIT SECURITY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PERFORMANCE COMPLIANCE
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of contractors providing the agency with security and law enforcement services
- Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Establishes and monitors long-range performance goals, schedules, and strategies for security and law enforcement
- Reviews and ensures performance requirements are met monthly and annually
- Oversees annual departmental contract audits and makes recommendations for corrective actions
- Attends meetings with contractor, in coordication with the Contract Administrator, to address contract related concerns
- Provides contract performance reports to management
- Maintains financial oversight of contracts within Transit Security
- Reviews and enhances performance measurements of the contractors
- Plans, directs, and communicates work requirements and schedules to support staff; monitors contract work to ensure schedules are met
- Prepares and presents reports to supervisor, the Board of Directors, and management
- Represents department at meetings, conferences, and public events
- Participates in the preparation of the departmental budget
- Supervises subordinate staff
- Communicates and implements safety rules, policies, and procedures in support of the agency's safety vision and goals; and maintains accountability for the safety performance of all subordinate employees
- Contributes to ensuring that the EEO policies and programs of Metro are carried out
- Theories, principles, and practices in performance evaluation process
- Administrative principles and methods, including goal setting, program and budget development and implementation
