HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST - Contingent QCP Req #1
- Conducts recruitment and selection processes for non-union and union-represented jobs; works with hiring department representatives to establish selection criteria; evaluates applications and resumes
- Determines recruitment needs and develops strategies for targeting appropriate job market
- Designs and develops appraisal interview questions, rating sheets, and various testing instruments, including written tests, performance tests, technical oral exercises, and assessment centers; administers testing processes
- Extends job offers, negotiates salaries, and oversees new hire processing; coordinates relocation activities if necessary
- Responds to grievances and other complaints regarding selection processes and other criteria used to make hiring decisions
- Performs job analyses and classification studies to determine proper allocation of jobs and employees; applies point factor analysis to ensure proper salary grade allocations
- Represents Metro at job fairs and other recruitment outlets
- Develops and revises class specifications to ensure accurate and current information on job content
- Provides information for salary surveys from outside sources
- Conducts research, formulates recommendations, and prepares reports on various human resources subjects and studies
- Responds to human resources inquiries from employees and public
- Contributes to ensuring that the EEO policies and programs of Metro are carried out
- Theories, principles, and practices of human resources management, including recruitment, selection, classification, and compensation
- Research and report preparation methods
