SR ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST (VD)
- Plans and organizes administrative functions and tasks relative to the activities or operations of a department
- Designs, develops and implements projects that are defined by agency goals and objectives, policies and procedures, work requirements, and performance measures
- Recommends strategies for process improvement and prepares justifications for staffing, facilities, equipment, production, and policy
- Conducts a variety of special projects and programs related to the department
- Confers with and represents Metro in meetings and conducts on-site meetings to comply with agency policies and procedures and maintain interface with public agencies, community organizations, contractors, vendors, consultants, and the public on various matters as assigned
- Conducts data analysis and research and implements problem-solving
- Assists in the development and administration of department budget, including gathering information and monitoring expenditures
- Prepares reports and correspondence
- Coordinates activities and projects with those of other departments
- Contributes to ensuring that the EEO policies and programs of Metro are carried out
- Theories, principles, and practices of public administration analysis and budgeting
- Business computer software applications
- Office practices, procedures, methods, and equipment
- Mathematics and business statistics
