SR HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST
- Performs complex work and oversees major projects related to classification, salary administration, merit pay programs, and recruitment and selection
- Provides guidance for other team members on complex human resources management projects and programs
- Serves as project manager on selected projects; oversees the work of other staff when so assigned
- Researches and writes responses to inquiries from executive officers, department heads, employees, and other sources regarding recruitment and selection, classification, compensation, and human resources practices
- Prepares reports to the Board of Directors, management, and outside agencies
- Calculates and analyzes costs related to salary administration
- Conducts and responds to complex salary surveys
- Gathers data and identifies and forecasts program costs
- Investigates and resolves complex grievances and/or complaints from employees regarding human resources practices
- Prepares reports and memos
- Performs special projects as required
- Conducts complex and sensitive recruitment and selection processes
- Acts as lead person providing work direction and guidance to professional, administrative, and clerical staff when assigned
- Contributes to ensuring that the EEO policies and programs of Metro are carried out
- Theories, principles, and practices of human resources management, classification, salary administration, merit pay programs, and recruitment and selection
- Applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing human resources management for a public agency
- Research and report preparation methods
